Boarding Your Dog
There are times for all of us when we need to find a reliable, safe and comfortable place to care for our dogs. It's like trying to find good child care and was one of my biggest concerns when I relocated to the Tyler area. I've worked at a commercial boarding facility and know what can happen when they lock up for the night and dogs are left alone until the next morning. You wouldn't hire someone to watch your kids knowing that half of the time, no one was even there, why do it with your dog?
I'm so thankful that I found out about Carolyn Bolton and Pampered Pet Sitting! Carolyn and her sweet husband, Angelo have created the perfect solution to the problem of where to leave your dogs! They converted a portion of their garage into climate-controlled indoor/outdoor runs and have accumulated such a devoted following that they have recently added an additional building to accommodate the demand. The kennels are amazingly clean and quiet and because they live there, the dogs are never left unattended!
Carolyn is a dog-savvy professional who began showing, breeding and handling Dobermans as a teenager. I board one of my dogs with Carolyn & Angelo a couple of times a month and am always so pleased that they come home calm and happy. Loud, noisy kennels are highly stressful for dogs and a dog who comes home exhausted after being boarded is a dog that has not had a good experience. The Boltons take time to get to know your dog so she is not constantly being exposed to "strangers" while you are gone. Drop-offs and pick-ups are arranged BY APPOINTMENT ONLY so you are not leaving or picking up your dog while three other people are doing the same thing. Even this small touch makes a world of difference in the stress level your dog will experience.
