Basic Obedience is a positive, reward-based class using clicker training to teach your dog the foundational behaviors necessary for a happy, well-mannered pet. Learn management tips for reversing the behavioral issues your dog is practicing and which training tools and equipment can speed this process along.
Intermediate Obedience is a continuation of Basic Obedience skills utilizing clicker training for those owners who want to work on more advanced skills with their dogs including the long down-stay, off leash work and preparation for passing AKC's Canine Good Citizen test.
Puppy Imprinting Class will provide your pup with the good experiences needed during this first critical period of his development. We know that puppies who are properly socialized before they are 6 months old stand a much better chance of developing into confident, gregarious adults. We will be using clicker training to "shape" your puppy's behavior with positive reinforcement, with praise and with play! The class seeks to take advantage of this most important time for learning in your dog's entire life! PLEASE NOTE: Because I think Puppy Classes are so important, if you have not gotten a puppy yet, I want to invite you to audit the class for free. (You still need to register with Bed, Bath N' Bonz so I can plan on a notebook for you.) There will be lots of information you can use in making your final choice about your new family member and you will be prepared when your little one arrives!
Tricks Class is designed as an opportunity to have fun with your dog and provide the framework to develop an even closer bond with her. Learning tricks is another way we teach our dogs how to learn and it provides an excellent outlet for mental and physical stimulation. The communication skills between the two of you will be enhanced and teaching/learned tricks is another way of spending quality time with your dog. Amaze your friends with your dog's brilliance and help him show you his "Party" side!
